Amazon Associates Disclosure
Updated: 2 Nov 2026
Hammerlyn is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
In plain terms, some of the links on our buying guides and reviews point to a product's listing on Amazon. If you click one of those links and buy that product, or sometimes another product during the same shopping session, Amazon pays us a small commission. You pay the same price either way. There is no markup, and the commission comes out of Amazon's own margin, not out of your wallet.
This only applies to links to Amazon. We mark them clearly, and every page that carries one shows our disclosure line near the top, above the first such link, so you see it before you click anything.
Being paid a commission never decides which product we name as the top pick, how we rank a comparison table, or what we write in a verdict. Our picks come from maker specs, current listing details and the patterns we see across real owner reviews. If a product is a poor fit for a reader, we say so in the guide, whether or not it earns a commission.
We do not control Amazon's prices, stock levels or shipping terms, and we do not see live pricing data. We do not print dollar prices. Each pick shows a price tier instead of a dollar figure: Budget, Mid-range or Premium. The tier compares the maker list price on our check date with similar products in the same category, and the Check current price on Amazon link shows today's price. Check the current price on the Amazon listing itself before you buy.
