Hammerlyn publishes research-only buying guides and single-product reviews about power tools, hand tools and home improvement gear. We compare published specs, price tiers and real owner reviews. We do not buy, unbox or run our own product tests, and nothing on this site should be read as a claim that we did.

The content here is for general information. It is not professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed electrician, plumber or contractor for any job that involves wiring, structural work or safety equipment. Follow the manufacturer's manual and your local code for any tool you buy.

Prices, specs and availability change. We show a price tier rather than a dollar price, and we attach a check date to every verdict we publish. That date is the most accurate statement of what we saw at the time, not a live price feed. Always confirm the current price and listing on the retailer's own page before you buy.
